Hydrogine Technology was established by Dr. Wei Zhu, a national high-level overseas expert, and a professional R&D and management team of fuel cell in July 2016. It is one of the few domestic companies of fuel cell key components which are capable to independently develop, design and produce catalysts and use them in MEAs.

Hydrogine had developed the first-generation catalyst and MEA products independently in 2017, then had self-developed and manufactured the first "Roll-to-Roll” direct coating line and automated assembling production line in China in Feb 2019. Since then, Hydrogine has completed the full production processes from catalyst materials,membrane electrode design, CCM coating and MEA assembling.

Hydrogine has established four facilities so far for R&D and production in Suzhou, Changshu, Shanghai and Henan.The facilities are in total 10,000 sqr. meters with three class 10,000 cleanrooms where are two catalyst production line (capacity of 2,000 kg/year), 2 production lines for both of automatic“roll to roll”direct CCM coating and MEA assembling.The total production capacity of MEAs is 2 millions pieces per year.

By using Hydrogine^TM catalysts and MEAs there are more than 40 models of fuel cell vehicles have been shortlisted in the Vehicle Announcement by MIIT ( Ministry of Industry and Information Technology ) and about 1000 vehicles are in commercial operation. Hydrogine has become a market leader of domestic catalyst and MEAs.

Hydrogine is deeply working on core technology research and innovation of fuel cell catalysts and MEAs. Hydrogine has expanded the product applicaitons to distributed powerstation, combined heat and power supply and PEM electrolysis of water for hydrogen production. We are continuing to provide customers with cost-effective products and services.
